• To set-up a channel of communication whereby information relating to extra-curricular activities of students reaches the interested faculty members and whereby information related to extra-curricular interests of faculty members is made available to all students.
• To organise atleast one function each semester which majority of students and teachers attend together. It may be made obligatory to for both the faculty and the students to attend such functions.
• To fund*  specific proposals which may be submitted time to time by students or faculty or student-faculty organisations for improving student-teacher interaction at individual, hostel and institute level.
• To provide an annual garnt ,at the department level, that should match the annual subscription collected by each society from the students and faculty subject to a upper limit of Rs. 2500/- per society per year.
